‘To give Flemish technology an international face more than ever.’ With that intention, the Flemish government is launching the digital platform ‘Flanders Tech Ecosystem’ in collaboration with data specialist Dealroom.

In addition to providing an overview of the local start-up ecosystem, the platform links promising Flemish tech actors to potential investors, incubators and other players in the ecosystem.

Dealroom is the reference in the international startup landscape, and together with FIT (Flanders Investment and Trade) and with support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Flemish Agency for Innovation and Enterprise (VLAIO), the Flanders Tech Ecosystem platform was built.

The platform is not only useful to gain insights into the startups and scaleups in different industries (eg. there are 256 startups and scaleups in Health), but it’s also a powerful tool to connect startups and allows them to spot promising companies.

In short, it’s an indispensable asset to help start-ups grow internationally, make Flanders’ start-up ecosystem better known worldwide, support talented entrepreneurs and developers, and inform potential investors.
