Since the worldwide COVID-crisis, telehealth services have boomed everywhere in Europe. I noticed many health professionals made a swift change, while others needed some more help.
But the needs for guidance to implement telehealth services into the care process and sharing best practices are everywhere.
That’s why at the beginning of the covid19-crisis I decided to initiate and host a Belgian learning group on teleconsultations.
It’s a community of 20 multidisciplinary health organisations meeting online and sharing their practices. The learning trajectory focuses on quality aspects of teleconsultation. We’re also paying a lot of attention to the implementation of telehealth services for different patient groups: people seeking mental health as well as speech therapy, diabetes care or workplace healthcare, for example. This first group will end its trajectory by the end of September.
Starting in October, I’m planning a second learning group with participants from all over Europe. Of course, this track will be held in English and you will be able to learn, discuss and exchange in a safe environment.
So, if you want to:
- learn how to install a qualitative teleconsultation process
- share best practices
- discover possibilities in other European countries
- discuss with multidisciplinary colleagues and widen your scope
You can preregister for this new group as from now on. After pre-registration, you can expect to receive all practical information by the 1st of September 2020.
Places are limited. Count on 1 hour per week for 3 months on average to participate (including online material).
